In 2019, Kelly saw a giraffe print online but the store was sold out when she went to buy it. On her way home that day,she stopped by the craft store and bought paint supplies hoping that her husband would paint something similar for her. She grew impatient after waiting a couple of weeks and took it upon herself to give it a go. Kelly’s very first painting was of a giraffe on 36" x 36" stretched canvas using a color block technique. She calls it Georgia. Kelly enjoyed the process of painting so much that she began painting every week. With close to 200 paintings sold, Kelly has discovered a true passion for art.
A California native, Kelly has always had an affinity for creativity. Her career includes roles in Human Resources, Real Estate, and Interior Design. She holds an undergraduate degree in Business Marketing , and a Master’s degree in Quality Assurance.Kelly never imagined that she could have an art business until recently and she is welcoming the transition.

BEHIND THE NAME "PINKJEAN"
The name Pinkjean is a fusion of Kelly's favorite color and her mom's nickname. She chose the combination when setting up her Poshmark site. She wanted a name that meant something personally yet was versatile enough to be both playful and professional.
